Thank you for being part of PHOTO WALK a photography exhibition and fundraiser supporting Zay Monae’s Photo Walk at RIOS in Leimert Park.
Taking place January 17th.

This open call highlights the neighborhoods, people, and everyday moments that make South LA a creative and cultural landmark.

Selected works will be professionally printed and framed by the curatorial team and featured in the exhibition. All artwork sales are shared on a 50/50 split between the artist and the fundraiser, directly supporting future Photowalk programming.

You may submit up to four images, each photographed within Crenshaw, Inglewood or Slauson.

December 15th, 2025

What to Prepare

Before you begin, please gather the following for each image:

• High-resolution JPG or PDF (up to 20MB)

• Title of the photograph

• Date captured

• Neighborhood or area (ex: Leimert Park, Crenshaw, Watts, Inglewood)

• Street name, cross-streets, or approximate location

• Composition (Landscape or Portrait)

• (Optional) Short description or story behind the image

• (Optional) Preferred print size up to 20x16 inches

RAW or TIFF files may be submitted via download link in the description field.

File Naming Format

Please name each image file using the following structure:

first_last_title_neighborhood_datecapture_size
Example:
zay_monae_cruisin_crenshaw_010921_16x20

Upload Requirements

• High-resolution JPG or PDF

• Minimum 300 DPI

• Ideally 3000px on the longest side

• Maximum file size: 20MB

• No watermarks
